Martin “Bob” Hoover is the pastor of the Message of Light Tabernacle.  Bob and his family have been a part of the Westfield community near Jane Lew since 1971 where he currently pastors and operates his construction business.  While many would say that running a business and leading a church is challenging, the business has enabled him to be a witness, lead people to Christ, and bring practical teaching to his pastoral role.  After a radical encounter with God that changed his life, Bob entered ministry in the early 1970s as the pastor of Irona Full Gospel Assembly church just outside Kingwood, WV where he led that congregation until 2006.  For most of his ministry, he also preached at the Message of Light Tabernacle under the leadership of his dad, Rev. W.H. Hoover.  Upon the passing of Rev. W.H. Hoover in 2006, Bob assumed the pastoral leadership role at the Message of Light Tabernacle and the Message of Light Evangelistic Association. He has been married to Beverly Hoover since June 1965 and has five children and nine grandchildren.
